  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great people, great teams, good networking opportunity.

  • I was given great work from the word go, treated like one of the team and given great leaving gifts!

  • Had a very senior mentor, who is a great connection and I learnt a lot from.

  • Busy, good working hours and not over-burdened either.

  • I was given my own projects in the first six months and learnt the ropes on the trading floor during my second rotation.

  • Huge amount of great skills learnt, both for uni (discipline!) and for future work.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Canary Wharf was very different from the city. Great people in each office but I especially enjoyed the buzz of the trading floor.

  • Organised well by HR and people in the division.

  • Had lots of training to begin with, then development days and trips with colleagues to suppliers etc.

  • Free bar every two weeks during the summer, and the other grads were great too!
