The Role
The placement was enjoyable whilst also being interesting and providing knowledge of how things work within industry.
The people I was with were really friendly and taught me a lot. I felt as though they wanted to provide me with the best experience they could.
I was provided with adequate guidance from supervisors to get jobs done that I needed.
Was busy most days whilst some days I had no work at all.
Wasn't really given much responsibility. I was supervised on most things I did bar a few.
It provided me with a fantastic experience with what goes on in industry and what is expected of engineers.
The Company
The atmosphere was really friendly. Everybody was really nice and was willing to help if you needed their assistance.
I felt that overall the placement wasn't that organised. However I feel that this was probably due to the area of work.
The firm did everything they possibly could to make sure I got as much as I could from the placement.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
The opportunities within the company are extremely appealing with locations all over the country within numerous different sectors.
The Culture
Yes, got to know all of the other summer placements and also spent time outside of work socialising with them.
Their is a good variety of pubs and restraints around the location and Morgan Sindall subsidised the cost of accommodation.
The town itself was fairly quite.
I was invited to numerous events during the time I was their including go-karting.
