The Role
Very much, the 10 weeks flew by and I was never counting down the days until I left or dreading to go back on a Sunday night.
Extremely valued. Towards to end I was getting ask questions about work I was doing that people were really interested in learning more about and I feel that I could teach them.
Got appointed a buddy and a mentor in the first week who I met with frequently during the 10 weeks. As well as that I had a very approachable manager who I met with very often.
I was put in a project role so it did fluctuate. I was busy in terms of working from 7:30-19:00 most days but sometimes during the day I found myself work because I wasn't given enough. That was more of the case for the start of the internship, not at the end.
Again because I was project work, not a line role, it felt like I didn't get a significant about of day-to-day responsibilities but over the whole programme projects are a huge responsibility,
I had the opportunity to seriously develop my presenting, researching and communication skills during the internship.
The Company
Very nice atmosphere. Didn't feel competitive or aggressive, genuinely felt you could go up and talk to anyone.
Had a good selection of learning classes at the start of the internship, this did fizzle out towards to end.
They invested in me to a great degree. Instead of just learning a line job that would just be replaced at the end, I had a role that would give back to my team long after I left.

National Travel
Very appealing, lots of opportunities to take at the firms with regards to working abroad and in other teams.
The Culture
Yes, frequently had drinks on a Friday evening after work and several drinks events were organised by Goldman during the 10 weeks.
Very high, London prices are not cheap.
It was good fun, and lots of different places to go too all in walking distance from the offices.
Yes, they are many different clubs you were able to join as well as a volunteering day.
