The Role
I would have liked a bt more of a challenge, however everybody was friendly and really helpful. I settled in realy well and it was an enjoyable experience. It paid well and I was given a lot of support from academics and placement staff
I think they think I am capable of completing talks. I have attended all meetings and have had input with the goings onm at the business school
I was on my own for 4 months, however there was always somebody at he end of the phone, and people would come and helkp if need be.
the business varies. as I work in education, we have busy times and very quiet times. I would say around the half term periods it did get very quiet, however it allowed me to catch up on work that I may have put to one side. When it was busy, it was very busy
I think I have been given a lot of responsibilty. I have ran events from beginning to end, and have carried out all the procedures that were required from me. Although I was given this responsibility - if I needed help, there was always somebody there to offer advice and assistance
I have developed my organisational skills, as I managed certain events on my own. I have had training with presentations and social communication. I would have liked to have learnt more about marketing and a bit more indepth brand management - however I think I have done all I could with the organisation I have been involved in
The Company
It is a friendly office and we regularly have poeple popping in. If I am on my own, then I would have my own music on low.
I was given a hand over period where I could get used to using certain softwere etc. All the academics and adminastrative staff that I would be in regular contact with got to know me quite well. Most of the time I was well aware of who I needed to contact for what job
I was allowed to go on training courses that would benefit me both academically and in the work place. I would have liked to be a bit more involved with the overall branding etc. of the organisation
Subsidised/Company Gym

Healthcare from home
I would like to work in a place like this when I am older, however while I am still young and learning I would like more of a challenge, and would like to se how far I get in the profession of marketing
The Culture
we had a few social gatherings. expecially if a member of staff was leaving, we would have a meal out. there was a party at christmas, and one for us all just to have a night out
Manchester can be quite cheap - depending on where you choose to eat and socialise. I already lived in Manchester so I did not have to travel far to work or any additional costs such as this.
I love nights out in Manchester, however when working full time, I very rarely went on nights out - only at weekends. however there are many places of interest in Manchester, and many places to entertain. you can go to the cinema, theatre, pubs and bars. they have all types of restraunts and shops too
not really. if it was a special occasion then we would go and celebrate, however not much happened spur of the moment
