  • This role gives you the opportunity to develop your programming skills.

  • My manager always gave me ideas when I needed help.

  • I was developing systems often which takes up time as there are many systems to administer.

  • With developing systems, it helps develop your programming skills and hence helps your problem solving skills.

  • The atmosphere is good socially and good to work in.

  • No problems really.

  • There is no training invovled with this role. It is more hands on approach which I found challenging but beneficial.

  • The placement students arrange different events

  • Living and socialising costs vary (outside of Welwyn). In Welwyn Garden City, costs are reasonable (based on salary paid for placement year).

  • Was not keen on the area in terms of nightlife.
