  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Enjoyed the work I was given and was given great opportunities.

    • Was treated like an equal memeber of the team and made some great friends at Xerox.

    • Regular 1:1 meetings with my manager to discuss my progress and to discuss how to dvelop my business skills.

    • Very busy at month ends but overall the right amount of work given.

    • I was given a huge amount of responsibility and was given some great opportunities to be involved in new projects, meetings etc.

    • Has given me a good understanding of how a real business works. I can see the theory I learnt at university being applied in everyday situations.

    • Had a great laugh with my team but we were very focused when it was needed.

    • Generally well organised.

    • I took several online tests to improve my IT skills.

    • We have been all the information required to reapply for a job in the future. Placement students are given priority for upcoming jobs.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Excellent social scene. Almost like being at university! There are about 70 students working for Xerox.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Quite expensive due to living so close to London.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Nightlife in Uxbridge is limited but there is easy access into central London.

    • Regular social events with the students plus five aside teams etc.
