The Role
Overall, extremely impressed with the programme and I enjoyed my time working at the company
Given that I was only there for a few weeks, everyone made a definite effort to make me feel welcome and help out where possible.
My manager was fantastic.
Some days were very busy, others a bit more quiet, but I never had any periods without anything substantive to do
The team were all much more experienced, so I know there was a limited extent to which I could contribute, that said, a number of the things I did felt useful to the overall team.
The internship exposed me to a side of the industry I don't think I will have seen myself for a long time otherwise, so I definitely feel it's given me a new sense of scope.
The Company
Professional and mostly experienced hires. Pretty much exactly the environment you'd expect from that sentance
Lots of events organised, enough time to get stuff done, a good intro to the company, and some actual tasks to do.
HR put in effort to organise some good talks etc.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
All the interns were of a very high standard so very hard to say.
The Culture
Really enjoyed hanging out with them, we didn't socialise out of working hours a great deal but you always had people to have lunch with, and maybe get some after-work drinks.
Having lived in London for 2 years it was absolutely what I expected and budgeted for.
As before, I live and go to Uni here so it's all my favourite places.
Yes, lots.
