The Role
I believe I was a bit underpaid, but the job was great!
The rest of my department felt very confident of my work and we liked working as a team and hanging around as friends. Even when we are now in different places we still keep in touch. The rest of the company was very nice too, not as friends, but they came to me comfortably when facing some problem they felt I could help them solve.
My boss was the best boss ever! He always thought with us how we should approach the problems, gave us feedback on our proposals and told us when he thought something was done specially right.
There was always something to do. Very busy all the time!
I started just as I finished my degree and had no responsibilities at all, but as time passed by, I had to manage to run the team while my boss wasn't there.
I learned a lot of marketing which I don't really enjoy, but I learned some statistics too, that was quite fun! I also learned how to program on VBA and they let me try some R codes too.
The Company
It was fun, but it was hard, time consuming and underpaid.
We would usually be having a meeting every 6 months to fix objectives on my career, I think this is very important.
They didn't hold anything back even when I told them that I wanted to study a MSc after working there for a while.
Flexi Time
Healthcare from home
I want to do something more challenging, to learn new things and to get well paid.
The Culture
Yes, we still are very good friends.
We were all mathematicians, it was quite easy to talk among us.
We were always working, and even if we got out early, we were a bunch of geeks, we would probably had dinner together or go to the cinema. Not quite the typical definition of nightlife.
No! That was very difficult, no time for that.
