    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really can't think of a better bank and a better team in which to intern!! Not only did I learn a lot, but also I felt very integrated in my team, I met very interesting and talented professionals, we had a lot of networking events for interns, etc. I can't wait to go back full-time!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Anytime! I asked tons of questions and everyone tried to help me all the time. They also gave me great opportunities as I progressed.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There's always something to do!!! But that's great because the 12 weeks pass very quickly and I wanted to learn as much as prossible.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Of course as and intern is difficult to get a lot os responsibility. I as very lucky to be staffed as an analyst for a deal during 3 weeks, so I guess responsibility was higher than for other interns.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt so much! I now feel confident speaking about industry-specific subjects, I apply what I learnt in the subjects I'm doing now and in my masters thesis... the internship was all about learning!
