  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There were loads of opportunities for personal development, mainly through the Charity Challenge (about which I was initially sceptical). I felt throughout like the firm was investing in me, and that was a really nice feeling.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Many of the interns from the whole building would eat lunch together which was a really lovely way to get to know people. I'm not really into the partying thing so it was great to have that.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Medium - I'm from London and at uni in the South of England so it seemed cheap but I know compared to other parts of Scotland or the North of England it's expensive.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I didn't really take part in the nightlife, but there appeared to be lots of it - which meant that there were always police around, which made me feel safe.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Beyond the Charity Challenge there wasn't much through the company, but as the city was so vibrant I found a group for one of my hobbies that I was able to join.

    4/5
