The Role
Enjoyed the placement and it presented some tough challenges to overcome
I felt valued by my immediate colleagues who I was working with on a day-to-day basis. Also I was part of the team (not 'Year out student')
My immediate boss and line manager were absolutely superb from the start of the placement right until the day I finished. They were friendly, welcoming and always there to answer my queries.
I was very busy as I was involved with several projects in one time. 10/10
I was given several packages to manage by myself which gave me a great experience and responsibility. Moreover, I was working on External valuations, CVRs and so on.
The skilled I learned on my placement will be with me for life. Morgan Sindall is a great company to work for and I will definitely make use of my experience in my final year.
The Company
The site office generally was a fun place to work, and the office was great too.
I felt the placement was fairly well organised. maybe need a bit more structure but I was happy with it.
The company have invested a lot of their time and money in me and I really appreciate that. I was sent on several training days and have been offered a place on to the graduate scheme if I achieve the right grades which is a great opportunity for me.

Didn't do much socialising in the area I worked.
Average
There were a few activities outside of work such as charity work in order to achieve higher CCS scores for sites.
