The Role
Everyone really friendly and helpful, made it easy to fit in
Was given proper work to do for the duration of the internship and felt like a useful member of the team.
Regular meetings were set up where targets were set and advice was given.
Very rarely had nothing to do, if I'd finished my day-to-day jobs there were usually things to help other people with and other tasks to be getting on with.
Given actual work to do so I felt like I had a fair amount of responsibility.
Gained numerous skills that will prepare me for employment after university.
The Company
Everyone normally in a good mood, always happy to have a chat.
Always knew where I was meant to be/where I was going. Just a few technical issues at the start regarding access to certain programmes.
Sacrificed a lot of time to help me develop my skills and experience to prepare me for the possibility of a job at the firm.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Seemed like a great place to work with nice people.
The Culture
Went out regularly with colleagues/other interns in my department.
In London so quite expensive.
Nice bars and clubs, just a bit pricey.
Being in London there was always lots to do.
