The Role
The internship was extremely enjoyable and rewarding.
My colleagues trusted me with responsibility on extremely engaging live projects and supported me greatly by providing feedback and advice. There was a great emphasis on teamwork.
Support and guidance was always available from my supervisors and other colleagues where appropriate. When delegated responsibility, my colleagues made a conscious effort to explain the context behind the project and to provide direction where necessary.
The internship was challenging with regards to the level of work. However, the support and guidance from colleagues determined that this led to an extremely effective means of development.
I was trusted with a great level of responsibility during my internship. The support and guidance from colleagues determined that I was able to gain exposure to a level of responsibility that allowed me to develop.
The internship provided an outstanding platform for development through both the training resources provided and the support and guidance of my colleagues.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was extremely welcoming and supportive. This provided an outstanding platform for development because it enabled individuals to challenge themselves with the support of highly motivated and intellectual colleagues.
The internship was extremely well structured with pre-internship online courses, an introductory training week, subsequent training seminars, a speaker series featuring highly successful career professionals, internship-specific projects and desk responsibilities.
I was particularly impressed by the extent to which the firm invested in the personal training and development of interns, both in respect of the structured training program, including pre-internship online courses, an introductory training week, subsequent training seminars and a speaker series featuring highly successful career professionals, and the conscious effort of career professionals at the firm to provide support and guidance.

The firm has outstanding appeal in respect of future employment prospects, which can be attributed to the culture and objective at the firm, the nature of the work and the opportunities for development.
The Culture
There was a good social scene among fellow internship students. The firm organised social events specifically for internship students and internship students would frequently socialise outside the firm.
The cost of living and socialising in the area was particularly high, although this would be anticipated living in a large city.
The nightlife was extremely extensive and varied.
There were a number of affinity networks and societies that internship students were encouraged to participate in. My colleagues also made a conscious effort to involve internship students in social events. In addition, the firm hosted a volunteering day for all internship students, which was great fun.
