  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A surprising lot more than I anticipated as I was left in charge of certain aspects of the build than were minor in the grand scale of things but valuable none the less and if I was to make a mistake it would have impacted the build.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt a whole lot more than I could sat in a lecture on my placement and a lot of the experiences on site have already given me a great standing and help with coursework's that have been handed out.

  • There wasn't so much of a structure for my summer placement but the people on site more than compensated for this by always providing work for me to do.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

  • Travel loan

    3/5

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I was close friends to a person that is on the same course as me in university that definitely eased the transition into the working world as I didn't feel like an outcast so to speak.
