The Role
Fully enjoyed the experience. Learning about the company, projects and building my network of contacts
I felt valued and welcomed by all staff.
I was given assistance whenever required. Everyone was happy to help
I think I was able to strike the perfect work/life balance. Being busy enough at work whilst still being able to enjoy the social side of the organisation.
I was very conscious that I was only with JLL for a limited time, as a result I was not able to take great responsibility with projects. However I was assigned tasks and was fully responsible for seeing them through.
Having completed my degree I found the lessons learned were very important to take through into the workplace.
The Company
Hot desking policy allowed me to interact with different people everyday. Which I fully enjoyed. There is culture of working hard to deliver the best service whilst still enjoying the social side of the industry, Making the office a vibrant place to be. The beer trolley every Friday was also a huge bonus!
I was very impressed with the structure of the internship, and the induction and group project. Within the workplace I felt I was given enough freedom to find my feet take on work from all corners of the department whilst still having the reassurance support from my graduate buddy and line manager.
In a four week internship there is little scope for formal training. I light of this I given a full induction to the company and policies.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I have built strong networks in the department. I have used the experience gained to bolster my application for the next graduate induction.
The Culture
Great social incentives organised by current graduates. I had lots of opportunities for social events within our department too. An aspect I fully made the most of and enjoyed"
Central London is expensive. But I was well prepared for that.
Great!
Its in my nature to be quite social, as a result I was made aware of various events and after work socials for me to attend!
