  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Fully enjoyed the experience. Learning about the company, projects and building my network of contacts

  • I felt valued and welcomed by all staff.

  • I was given assistance whenever required. Everyone was happy to help

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I think I was able to strike the perfect work/life balance. Being busy enough at work whilst still being able to enjoy the social side of the organisation.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was very conscious that I was only with JLL for a limited time, as a result I was not able to take great responsibility with projects. However I was assigned tasks and was fully responsible for seeing them through.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Having completed my degree I found the lessons learned were very important to take through into the workplace.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Hot desking policy allowed me to interact with different people everyday. Which I fully enjoyed. There is culture of working hard to deliver the best service whilst still enjoying the social side of the industry, Making the office a vibrant place to be. The beer trolley every Friday was also a huge bonus!

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I was very impressed with the structure of the internship, and the induction and group project. Within the workplace I felt I was given enough freedom to find my feet take on work from all corners of the department whilst still having the reassurance support from my graduate buddy and line manager.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • In a four week internship there is little scope for formal training. I light of this I given a full induction to the company and policies.

  • I have built strong networks in the department. I have used the experience gained to bolster my application for the next graduate induction.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Great social incentives organised by current graduates. I had lots of opportunities for social events within our department too. An aspect I fully made the most of and enjoyed"

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Central London is expensive. But I was well prepared for that.

  • Great!

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Its in my nature to be quite social, as a result I was made aware of various events and after work socials for me to attend!
