  • Support was available when requested.

    3/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • This was very changeable, some days are very busy and others not so. I think this all depends on your project/role.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • 3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Opportunities to learn and develop yourself for your future are fantastic, for your degree, to some extent.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Atmosphere at the start of my placement was not as good as it is now. We have moved into an open-plan style office and the atmosphere now is much better than before.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • This placement is well set up by the UK.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • 3/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • 3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • 4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • 4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Accommodation prices are fairly high, however cost of living and socialising is fairly cheap. It all depends on where you go.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There's something for everyone - the city has a lot to offer.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Unfortunately there are not many activities outside of work. If you are based in the UK, there is a lot more on offer and it's a shame that this is not the case at every Verizon office.

    3/5
