The Role
I found the work I was doing really interesting and enjoyed the work I did however at times there wasn't a lot to do, these times were a little bit tedious.
The people I worked for well very welcoming and friendly. I felt they appreciated the work I did and valued my input.
As I said they were very friendly and helped me a lot, they always let me know that if I had any doubts I was able to talk to them and gave me jobs to help me improve my skills.
Most of the time there was work to keep my busy but occasionally there would be days when I didn't have much to do.
I wasn't given much responsibility but this was mainly due to the language barrier, they trusted me to carry the work I was given however there was always the language barrier when trying to communicate with people outside the offer.
The skill I have gained are going to very useful, it has helped to improve my languages and translation skills greatly but also my analytical and interpretation skills. Furthermore I have learnt lots of useful information through the documents I have been reading/translating and the meetings I have attended.
The Company
Very friendly, there are only 3 permanent workers so it is very easy to get to know them. Obviously it was a working atmosphere but it was relaxed and easy going.
There weren't set tasks that they had waiting for me to do however they were ready for me and easily found work for me.
I didn't receive any official training on the job but I attended seminars and meeting all of which have increased my knowledge on the context of CSR and my colleagues helped me a lot if I had any problems.

International Travel
I found the work very interesting and would like to work in the same area in the future but probably not in Spain.
The Culture
When I first arrived there was another placement student, he was very friendly and helped me get to know the city and other people. My other colleagues (permanent workers) were always advising me of places to go and see throughout the city.
For me the city can be expensive but as long as you stay aware of what you are spending then its no worse than most capital cities. If you are sharing a flat then cost are average.
Being a capital city there are plenty of things to do whatever your interests.
Work didn't organise any specific events but its easy enough to meet people especially other ERASMUS students and there are plenty of events organised for ERASMUS students.
