  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • To finish my studies, I had to write a thesis which talks about telecomunications. It was my best experience until now, I could acquire news knowledge in my technical domain

  • Thanks to Verizon, I really appreciated to work with employees very qualified. They answered of all my questions concerning my thesis.

  • My manager gives me a couple of projetcs. I was in charge of complete and set up solutions for customer.

  • Many projects had to completed in time, so we were busy every day.

  • A student could have all rights to manage network equipment so, I was limited to be in charge of leading differents projetcs,

  • I could acquire news knowledge in SDH, WDM, Security Loop, Backbone management, I could also improve my english, I have been graduated on September 2014 (Master degree 2 in Network and IT Management)

  • Atmosphere was very great, very funny..

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Vince Curran is the leader of all interns at Verizon in Europe. He is in charge of present the company and makes sure that students work correctly and theirs projects normally progress.

  • A lot of trainings are available from the web portal, so it was possible to learn many many things in differents domains.

  • Luxembourg is a very good place to work but rent of appartment are very expensive.
