The Role
It was suprisingly good. I enjoyed people, the project I was working on and the whole environment.
I feel it was fine but it was probably possible to use my potential more efficient.
The guidance was on a very high level. I don't have any critical remarks here.
Other, less technical, interns were actually very busy but in my case it was quite balanced.
Quite a lot for a summer intern. Altough I was an associate so I think the responsibility could be even bigger.
It will actually be quite useful because I'm interested in Finance and Market Microstructure so that kind of inside can be very useful.
The Company
Very positive. I felt like I can talk to everyone and ask as many questions as I want.
The organisation of the internship was very professional.
I have to admit that it seems like the internship is more about developing interns that may become new hires than about geting something from interns work. It was definitely the case of company investing in new/future employees.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Quite appealing. My situation is rather individual because I have many plans for future and at least 2 more years at University but I 'll probably join for another internship next summer.
The Culture
It was good.
It was London so costs were very high. Fortunately I had a very good salary.
Nightlife in London is very active. If You want to party or stay in a nice pub You won't have any problems with that here.
There is a gym and we had few challenges and teamwork events,
