About You
A variety of work was provided, and I was able to read amd decide on the cases amd then I was able to see thrm in court which was fascinating and put what I was reading into relevant perspective
I was give a variety of tasks, and some of my work was kept as they found it so useful which made my opinion feel valued
all my questions were answered by the appropriaate person, and i was given samples of the work in a variety of departments. I was often left to work to my own initiative which I appreciated more
i was able to see what i can do with my degree. The analysis and communication skills will be invaluable to me fr my degree and beyond. I was also given administrative tasks which helped me become more organised
The Company
Because plans were always changing so it was difficult to have a structure. However, I was given guidelines at the start and was able to work at my own pace to complete all work given
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The canteen was ideal for meeting new people and seeing the positive and approachable atmsophere of the company
i was provided with a range of tasks, all of which werethoroughlyexplained to me, and someone was always available if I hadany questions about to task, or working for the companyetc.
I was also able to attend meetings, social events and arrange lunches with employees so that my questios could be answered thoroughly and informally which I found invaluable.
formal and informal settings helped mego get a rounded, and true insight into the culture. Everyone worked so well together and gave a very positive impression of the company
Everything Else
It was quite expensive for me to travel there as it was in London, however the company gladly fully reimbursed my expenses which I greatly appreciated
there were opportunities both in a formal, and informal setting within working hours, in the canteen, and meetings and their social events
being invited to their annual quiz definitely helped with meeting other employees. Spending time in the different departments, as well as withothercompaniesthey worked with was invaluable
There is plenty of free time for employees to have their own acitvities, however the company also provides many activities and team building
such a brilliant insight, showing what i can do with my law degree without necessarily becoming a lawyer but rather being an in house lawyer
