    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was part of a fun, friendly and hard working team. The work was varied and instrumental to the running of the business. As my ability to complete tasks grew, I was given more complex and important ones. This meant that I was always developing and never bored. 9

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager was great. We met every week to catch up on tasks I was completing and generally to discuss how the week went. Gave me lots of positive feedback and guided me on how I could improve. I was given as much guidance as I wanted, I was encouraged to ask questions, but also given the opportunity to try to complete tasks unaided if I wanted to. Ecouraged me to think about what I liked and disliked about work, and to think about what I want from a job in the future.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was always plenty of work to be done so I was busy most days.
