    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The First Year Workshop was excellently organised and thoroughly planned. Taking part in various group exercises (such as ADR and M&A negotiation exercises) significantly enhanced my understanding of tasks undertaken at trainee/associate level. I also gained a thorough insight into Herbert Smith Freehills, as considerable amount of time was devoted to Trainee Shadowing, which was very interesting and useful.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Very useful career advice, in terms of application forms as well as interviews. I believe the skills concerning drafting of contracts will be particularly useful at assessment centres, where assessment takes place through similar exercises.
