About You
The week covered many areas of the bank, which was very enjoyable
The Campus Recruiters were very lovely, and the business representatives constantly emphasised the importance of new talent to the firm
The Campus Recruiters were wonderfully supportive, and the business representatives were happy to help us in any way they could
We did lots of team-based challenges which enabled me to develop my leadership and teamwork skills
The Company
The timing was quite loose in some places, but the events were well-ordered
The Campus Recruiters put us in small tables of about 8 which rotated for the different days. Being in smaller groups with people made networking far more effective - this was done especially well. It made the general atmosphere a lot more comfortable and welcoming.
The company ensured that we had quality time with business representatives, and that we were able to make lots of connections
The firm were very clear with regards to what a full-time role entailed
The firm's culture was demonstrated and articulated very well throughout the week
The work shadowing element of the week was especially helpful in this respect
Everything Else
I am to be paid expenses for my travel
The bank provided plenty of networking sessions - another aspect of the week that was particularly well-organised
The bank provided ample social networking opportunities including an event at a bar, and a farewell dinner later in the week
We had presentations on the bank's efforts to encourage volunteering, and met with diversity networks that endeavour to help nurture a communal feel at the bank
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend
