About You
It was really enjoyable, fantastic learning journey.
We were very well taken care of. Every need was considered. There're training and mentoring available to help us adapt to the task and environment. Each intern was assigned a buddy and HCM was always there to help out.
Massive support. Everyone in the firm was genuinely willing to help. Any questions at all.
We learned some technical skills. But I personally find that I learned a lot of soft skills, especially team-working, listening and time management.
The Company
Timetable was very well spread out. We have enough time for all sort of activities for us to maximise and gain more insights into the firm.
Everyone was eager to learn and share ideas. The interns got along well, the employees were happy to have us around, making it a very interesting experience
Much efforts were in preparing the training materials for us. It was ensured that we have accessed to most facilities for us to maximise our experience here.
We get basic ideas of how the daily work and tasks are like, but 2 weeks are not enough to understand in depth
We get work shadow and participate in meeting, and get to see how the employees interact with each other, how they reach to the same conclusion through very constructive discussions. Ultimate display of teamworking.
Having an idea of how daily work might look like, it definitely helps a lot in deciding my future career.
Everything Else
We are paid well, and interns out of London were reimbursed expenses.
There were networking events organised for us. Also, interns were strongly encouraged to reach out to people and to take initiatives to set up a meeting over lunch or coffee.
There were many employees from different divisions and afffinity networks that came to interact with us, sharing with us their experience, ideas and advices.
There were volunteer work, extra learning, affinity network and much more.
A fantastic way to spend Easter break and to learn more about a firm, or to showcase your skills.
