About You
It gave a clear overview of the firm, helpful in understanding if you would want to work there.
Employees went out of their way to help us if we had questions, even if we were only interns.
We got a lot of presentations and work shadowing to learn about the division.
It helped me learn about myself, what I want to do and where I would like to work.
The Company
There were daily work shadowing sessions couple with division overview presentations which were very useful.
All of the other interns were friendly, and the firm really made an effort to make us want to stay.
It was a short internship so they weren't aiming to train us individually, more to give us an idea of what we would be doing. We still had small group work shadowing that allowed us to learn more.
Gave me a good idea of what it would be like to work there day to day, so that to me is a successful internship.
People were always really helpful. They assisted my group with our group project when we reached out to them by email, they were willing to sit down and talk with us. Great culture.
I am now more inclined to a career in finance so I would say that it was helpful.
Everything Else
Paid a small salary for the two weeks and if you had travel expenses they reimbursed you. Also, if you don't live in London they will put you up in an accomodation.
They had only a few networking opportunities, and could have had more so that we could meet more employees. But really the networking came down to you continuing the relationship with people you met.
We met with the affinity groups, had an analyst lunch and some MD Q&A sessions so we met a variety of people.
They told us a lot about their programs for community volunteering, of which they have many.
Yes.
