The Role
I had a fantastic time during my internship. Great balance between work, learning and structured socialising. Also great preparation for graduate application process.
I felt very valued, was able to make small decisions on the input I was creating and felt supported.
My supervisor was fantastic and gave me great advice. Also other team members did the same.
There were busy days and less busy days. Busy enough to feel needed but not too busy to be stressed.
I was able to take on small parts of important projects. I did carry responsibility for completing them in time as I know no one else could have done it again before our dead line, however, of course decisions about what to submit to clients and what amendments to make were with supervisors.
Skills I developed did not help me at univeristy but they do help me now in the job. I also think learning about the work environment is the most valuable lesson.
The Company
Everyone was busy but nice and chatty and we had team nights out. Fun with other interns was amazing and we had many organised socials.
The structured internship is full of training events, assigned super visors and buddies and everyone know what to do at any time.
We had several training days during the month.
