    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very enjoyable and it involved a lot of different aspects of the legal profession. I feel much more knowledgeable about that such a career entails.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt very welcome into the office environment, everyone was very friendly. It had a very inclusive atmosphere.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • A huge level of support, much more then expected. I was briefed thoroughly before each task so as I would not have any uncertainty as to what I was doing.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I am not pursuing a career in law, so from this perspective it hasn't assisted in my degree at all. But it is certainly useful from a general standpoint.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • It was relatively unstructured, with room for variability if more interesting situations arose, for example or if they were very busy.

    • Really nice and positive.

    • It was just a brief couple of weeks work experience, so in terms of this they didn't.

    • Yes, I really felt I left with a knowledge of what the day to day life of a lawyer involved.

    • I think it did to some extent, but it wasn't really long enough to tell and similarly it was a relatively small company so might be very different from a larger one.

    • I was not expecting to be paid at all, so this was a welcome surprise.

    • Not particularly.

    • not really applicable, my work experience was only 2 weeks.

    • I did not know of any, I think the company was a little small to recruit large sports teams or things like that.
