    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was much more interesting than basic admin but was quite repetitive. There wasn't a huge amount of variation but it was nice to do a job which was actually quite valuable.

  • My colleagues were really welcoming and friendly.

  • I was always able to ask questions if needed and never made to feel like I shouldn't.

  • I had a lot of work to get done which was good because I never had nothing to do.

  • I was performing a task which was actually valuable which was much nicer than doing filing work for example.

  • I was able to develop quite a lot of skills from working independently and in a team.

  • They seemed to have quite a few events going on.

  • The work placement was well organised and there was plenty of work to do.

  • They sent me to the London office to learn more about the work there which was interesting to see.

  • I was offered a position after my work experience.

  • I lived at home and commuted quite a distance.

  • Not much nightlife where I worked at all.

  • There seemed to be several events which it would be possible to get involved with e.g. rounders, cricket
