  • Great work-life balance, very high-calibre employees who are simultaneously down-to-earth and very easy to get along with.

  • I felt valued from colleagues at even the most senior positions.

  • There was support coming from all directions: coach, buddy, and team members.

  • I almost always had something to do, and when I did, I felt that my work was impactful.

  • I was given as much responsibility as a permanent employee and was challenged past my comfort zone.

  • I acquired a lot of finance-specific knowledge as well as transferrable skills like how to confidently present and efficiently manage a project.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It's a very energetic place as everyone is so young and friendly. Plus, it's exciting to hear about everyone else's project on client site.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Training was useful and intensive. Assignment onto client projects could have been done a bit sooner.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The week of training was very good - but could have been a bit longer. Namely MS Excel training could have been more in-depth. In terms of ongoing personal development, my mentor was exceptionally helpful.
