About You
i have been given an opportunity to shadow a legal adviser for the magistrates for a week
i have been shown exactly the same things as if I was a trainee legal adviser
during my workplacement i have been shown everything and all my questions we answered
i really revised my criminal law during the placement and could see how criminal litigation works in a practice
The Company
i was following the day to day work of a legal adviser
everybody was very friendly, was introduced to the magistrates, was chatting to barristers and solicitors and everybody and they took me like a proper future lawyer not as a law student and was always treated with respect
before each case came to court i was asked for my opinion
i could see how in reality solicitors and barristers or legal advisers work, what is the role of a prosecutor or probation officer
Everything Else
to anybody who considers future career in criminal law or wants to be a barrister this is highly recommended
