The Role
Not massively technical, but I was given a great project to work on and lots of independence.
I'd just come out of school so I was quite surprised at how much I was valued
I was left to my own devices a lot of the time, but help was available when I needed it.
It varied - some days very busy, others very quiet
Given that I had just come straight out of school, quite a lot!
They haven't really helped that much yet as we haven't covered the relevant topics at uni, but I'm sure they will do when I start work later on.
The Company
Very focussed and not that much 'office banter'
It varied - it started fairly chaotically but got much better. It was organised by YINI, who did a great job.
They funded both a maths and a Management course
Company Parties/Events
Could come back for a summer placement whenever if I want
The Culture
Really not all that much to be honest
Glasgow's ok!
Didn't really go out that much! I was living at home and all my mates had disappeared off to uni!
Very very little
