  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a fantastic experience. The firm provided so many opportunities to interact with fellow interns and also senior members of the fim

  • Over the course of my internship, I was increasingly integrated into the firm's culture and the culture of the team in which I was working

  • I was assigned a mentor who was always available to speak with me. Additionally, the managing director who runs the floor also was more than willing to speak with me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work load generally was very heavy but why would you want to intern at Goldman Sachs if you didn't want to push your limits?

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • One of my projects was to work on a client review. I was given full discretion to create the documents for the client and my manager reviewed everything after I was done.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The first week was entirely focused on education. There were guest lecturers on capital markets, the different divisions of the firm and even a full day devoted to Excel!

  • Everyone on the floor worked hard and also had fun!

  • Very well organised. The IMD recruiters managed everything perfectly.

  • Great educational programs at the beginning of the internship.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • In the end we did not have any events for Summer Associates

  • A bit pricey but this is London

  • Although we didn't see too much of it as we were working long hours
