A lot of thought was put into the insight week, giving us a range of exposure of IB and IB Risk and allowed us to network with a whole range of employees.
A lot of care was put in to ensure we were taken care of, in terms of welfare and that our questions were answered.
We had project mentors and personal mentors to speak to.
Very relevant to study of economics, to understand applications of my degree.
Interactive activities followed presentations, which enhanced understanding.
A lot of interactive sessions, group work and even strategic games.
We were taught credit risk, market risk, different products, derivatives and even personal skills like how to ace an interview, network etc.
It covered all the job aspects and allowed us to speak to people from different business areas and of different job titles.
Allowed me to appreciate the "flat" and inclusive culture that I read about through interactions with the employees.
In terms of understanding culture and job nature it helped a lot.
Travel expenses were covered.
Yes plenty of opportunities at every meal times.
It was good that even senior management took time to speak to us.
Yes there was a session on women groups and employee groups that improved welfare of employees.
definitely as it enhanced my awareness about the business.
