The Role
This is exactly the career I want.
I received good feedback at the end of the placement but was mainly left to get on with my tasks without talking to many people while I was there.
I was given enough support but largely left to get on with stuff on my own.
It varied. Very busy in the first week, but towards the end of the second week there was a lot less to do. This was probably due to the fact that the company were breaking up for Christmas.
I felt trusted to do editing tasks.
Learnt publishing symbols and a lot more about the industry than I did before.
The Company
Everyone seemed to enjoy their work.
It didn't feel particularly organised. People would just give me things to do as and when they needed me.
Not at lot.
Would be my favourite choice of company and department to work for in the future.
The Culture
Didn't interact with other interns; I was the only one in my department.
London is expensive.
