The Role
Very enjoyable placement especially compared to other placements that have been done previosuly. Friendly co-workers, good atmosphere in the office and did enjoy seeing how the industry works and the kind of work involved in high voltage projects.
Colleagues were great - made me feel very welcome.
Neutral. I suppose they gave some kind of guidance/support, but it must have been farily subtle.
Some days very busy, but most of the time had nothing to do for many hours at a time. Although they did try to keep me as busy as possible and would give me stuff to do whenever they had anything that was within my capabilities.
Every so often was given something important to do.
Did learn anything at all that would be helpful with my degree, but did learn quite a few things that should be useful if I continue in the same line of work.
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office. Everyone worked well together and there were some very funny moments when i was there.
Seemed fairly well set up even if there were large portions of the placement when I had nothing to do.
I didn't particularly learn anything new whilst I was there, so I suppose i have to put it close to nothing.
I will already be working for them when i graduate.
The Culture
Might of been, but I didnt see it.
Not expensive at all especially with student discounts.
