The Role
The company were welcoming, the work was interesting & they ensured that I was never sitting around for long periods without anything to do
They were very pleasant and made me feel as though the work I was doing was definitely worthwhile
My superviser had created step-by-step guides for each regular assignment, which were invaluable
I generally had plenty to do, the only real issue was when a download had to be run which could take up to 20 minutes
I was doing things that had to be done, but they weren't going to make or break the company
It was an excellent refresher course in Excel which is very useful, and the training would be suitable for any position within the sector
The Company
The people were lovely but the different sections within the deparment did not mix very much
The only issue was that the person supposed to be meeting me on my first day was in a meeting at my time of arrival, but beyond that there were no problems and everything went according to plan
My first superviser was very good, but the second was very busy so did not always have time to offer support
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would be more than happy to work for them.
The Culture
They got on well at work but it did not seem to extend far beyond that
I was travelling in from out of London but the fares were not cheap...
I have heard it is excellent in that area but I never visited anywhere with my colleagues
There were not really any external activities
