  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really appreciated the international environment and learned a lot.

  • I had friendly colleagues who helped me a lot whenever needed being for paperwork or technical questions.

  • I had a supportive manager who also gave me enough space to take the lead of the project.

  • I had some periods with less work so I can't say it was perfect balanced, but it gave me the opportunity to work on my school internship report which was really useful.

  • I evolved throughout my internship and ended up with a key leading position for the project.

  • I developped and used my technical skills but also discovered some notions which are not necessarily studied at the university such as politics and diplomacy at work.

  • Everything was organised and I had everything I needed to work from day 1.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We were only a few women in my office but there was a good ambiance with my colleagues.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Coming from Paris where everything is expensive, I found it quite cheap !!

  • I needed to drive to the closest city (30 minutes) for nightlife !!
