    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was extremely enjoyable and they threw you in at the deep end from day one. It has been a great environment to work in as it is still a growing business everything is going on under one roof. You get to learn a lot about the business and you learn your role quick

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt extremely valued as they were all so friendly and they appreciate it when they can see that you are a hard and enthusiastic worker

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The management is great and they are really helpful

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Again as it is a growing business there are always things to be doing which is good and tasks can vary.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Responsibility comes with time but they try to give you as much responsibility as possible which I don't think you get so much with a lot of companies

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Completely! It is what I want to go into and I am happy I have been given the opportunity to work within an environment where I can use the skills I have learnt and learn more skills

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It is a relaxed atmosphere but not in the sense where people slack. You do the work but everyone is calm and cheerful which makes it an enjoyable environment

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • For an expanding company they appeared to be extremely organised

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • 4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    2/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Very appealing. It is a good company to work for which is growing all the time and always willing to take on new people who want to grow in this area

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes very.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not as expensive as living in London to do a placement

    1/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The nightlife is not good at all but that is not a big deal

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not really but again this wasn't offputting
