  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was very pleased with the fact that I was thrown straight into a 'proper' job and not treated like a lesser member of the team at any point.

  • My colleagues treated me as equal and were also very friendly and easy to talk to.

  • My supervisor was very knowledgable and always had time to impart his knowledge on me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Working in a very busy team, work wasn't found for me, I had to look for things that needed doing. This meant that a lot of the time my work would dry up.

  • I was treated as an equal member of my team and shared responsibilities with each of them.

  • I worked in a challenging role with talented people, both of which will help me in future life.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • We often did out of work activities amongst our department but at work most people were very focussed.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The processes were rusty due to it being the first time they had taken on interns in many years, but they have shown a desire to improve these processes and have discussed with me several times how I think processes could be improved.

  • We were given £200 a year to spend on out of work training.

  • We arranged to do monthly activities to keep a strong relationship.

  • Brentwood was very expensive for living and socialising.

  • There was a nightlife but a limited and expensive one.

  • There are a plethora of different groups run by people at work.
