Overview
It involved a Hackathon and a panel of current Software engineers. There was also a part where we were aided in the application process for the 2025 amazon internships.
Skills
I developed my coding abilities through participating in the 2 hour hackathon. The hackathon required solving a series of difficult challenges. It really put my coding and intricate thinking skills to the test and allowed me to improve on my problem deduction.
Business Insight
It was intriguing to see the different routes people took to end up as a software engineer. It made me feel confident in being able to apply for these positions myself in the future.
Culture
The company culture is very inclusive and welcoming. It had a very friendly and informative atmosphere.

I enjoyed it to a high extent as it allowed me to develop my coding as well as giving me a greater understanding of the types of roles available and what I could do to reach my professional goals.
