    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • The day started with introductions before we started the hackathon, where we were asked to complete 6 questions using code. it then finished with a judging panel, prizes, the Amazon Software Engineer Panel Q&A swell as further information on the application process which was really insightful and very helpful for future candidates

    • I have developed a lot of (limited) python skills as it was a really fun and challenging event. I felt it really pushed me to my abilities and it has made me realise my areas for improvement and where I really need to focus and work on the gaps in my coding ability.

    • It seemed very lovely and welcoming! Everyone seemed very passionate about what they do and that excitement was conveyed through their behaviour
