  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Work was always present at varying levels of difficulty, a good challenge with a lot of pressure at times.

  • All my peers and superiors had time for my ideas and thoughts. I felt like a full team member within a few weeks.

  • Support was always given and any questions were heeded with open arms.

  • I've always had things to do - much was influenced by myself.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility, which I had to work to earn. As a result of this, I had the opportunity to carry out some important tasks.

  • Complete change of mindset, fully developed a practical and commercial viewpoint to problems.

  • Probably a bit too much fun at times..

  • Not much organisation at all, most had to be influenced by myself.

  • I went on quite a few training courses run by third parties (expensive).

  • A career with this company is definitely something that is on my radar for the future.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of students got to know eachother and went out a lot. A few lived with eachother through housing organised by the company.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Hull - one of cheapest places in UK.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It's pretty good - nothing amazing.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Quite a few, but it took some finding. Many can be found through other staff.
