Overview
Two week internship spent in two different departments. Took part in legal tasks including research, drafting, client meetings and proof reading. Also undertook insight activities run by the Early Talent team to get to know the firm better, as well as an afternoon volunteering with UOcean.
Skills
Communication skills, drafting, attention to detail, and how to quickly manage and build professional relationships.
Business Insight
RPC made it really easy to get to know the business and the roles during the scheme, they ran loads of events and took real care to help us, even booking a session with a coach. There is also loads of info available online!
Culture
The culture was super friendly and inclusive. We were encouraged to get to know people in all areas of the business, we attended loads of activities, the firm ran socials for us and everyone was incredibly generous with their time.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved the two weeks! It was interesting, challenging, and fun. I got to know the firm so much better and it made me really excited to train there.
