Overview
On a day to day basis I have meetings, I go to the paint shop to resolve issues and I spend most of the time working on processes for the different tasks that the technitians need for the new models. I use the CAD version of the models and label processes such as graphics, masking and painting
Skills
I have learnt the basic skills that an engineer needs in the automotive industry and I have got really valuable experience in the sector. I keep developing my skills and I am making sure to follow the advice with the experienced engineers and the projects that I carry. I have also learnt to manage the responsibility and to interact with the different departments by improving my communication skills in meetings
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of projects, at the beginning I was supervised and after the first ones I got given more freedom to do the projects by myself. Always having someone that I could go for help if needed
Support & Guidance
I got a lot of support from my team and my manager, they alwaya made sure I had all I needed and I also made sure to always ask for help if I needed it
Culture
It was really friendly and open, with different perspectives and always willing to understand the others
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it so much that I don't want to go back to being a student
