Overview
I spent four days on a work experience placement during which I had shadowed and had conversations with various employees from a variety of departments including Finance, HR, Marketing, Retail, Store Development, Store Operations and Property.
Skills
I developed a better understanding of the processes and work which take place within each department in order to sustain and grow the business. I also learnt about the different career paths the employees I talked to had taken in order to progress to their current roles.
Business Insight
Despite there being a large amount of information to take in during a short amount of time, each employee took their time to ensure I had a good understating of what their work included, making the experience very interesting and helpful.
Culture
Throughout my entire placement the atmosphere was consistently friendly and collaborative across all of the departments.

The placement was an excellent opportunity to talk to a variety of very welcoming and friendly people who made the experience interesting and enjoyable.
