Overview
Carrying out calculations of ductwork and pipes inside buildings.
Skills
Massively developed my skills in REVIT. I had previously only used it for basic construction but learning a lot within the mechanical systems side.
Responsibilities
Yes, a large amount of responsibility. This was a little daunting at first but everyone is extremely helpful and all work that is carried out is reviewed before it is finalised.
Support & Guidance
Even though line managers were able to work remotely, they were always available to call on teams and were very helpful at explaining any concepts which I did not understand.
Culture
The atmosphere is fantastic. Everybody in the office is a pleasure to be around and it has been a great experience meeting them all.
Your Impressions
I have loved my time at Buro Happold. I really feel like I have learned so much which I can apply to my final year of university. I would recommend this placement.

It is beneficial to have a background of REVIT for the MEP role.
