My role involves various tasks such as: helping review and write reports on financial products, ensure valuations and exits are logged for our high risk investments, various projects that had the goal of improving our internal processes, using excel, word and powerpoint to deliver messages from projects or research that I conducted

I have learnt many news skills and developed existing skills. The programme ensures I can address any skills that I would like to develop. Regular meetings with my manager and team about work and goals for the year. Any work I wanted to get involved in more or less was catered for.

Yes! Lots of responsibility, large projects that I helped with and even some solo projects that I took from start to finish, with guidance along the way. I felt fully immersed and accepted within the team and the wider firm

Lots! loads of meetings with my line manager, team, training team, various industry specialists within the business and many more. All content and necessary support was always available to me and if it was not the team were easily accessible

Really good friendly culture within the teams and in the office in general. Very pleasant space to work in, felt comfortable and relaxed.

I loved it, I would recommend anyone looking into Financial planning should apply for a placement here. Great starter role into the industry, ensuring that I got a taste of the corporate world but in a controlled and monitored environment so I was never lost or stressed.
