Overview
Over the course of my week at Gateley I was exposed to the life of a trainee and got the opportunity to hold the responsibilities and tasks that trainees are often given. The week gave me a good insight into Gateley's values, the trainee programme at the firm and the different departments that operate within it.
Skills
The week definitely contributed to an improvement in my research skills and emphasised the importance of attention to detail. It was a great opportunity to relate the current skills I have to the current skills that other solicitors hold.
Business Insight
The commercial and legal insights provided through the week were very useful in helping me prepare for my next career steps.
Culture
Gateley has a very down to earth work environment and emphasises the importance it places on it's employees.
