    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • 3 days of training and then 1 week working on the M&A desk. We were paired with an analyst buddy on the team. We had to prepare a presentation on a transaction.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

    • Really good. We were encouraged to go on coffee chats with people from different divisions in Investment Banking and Global Markets. Everyone who I asked, even seniors, were responsive and took the time to come and talk to me.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Amazing. The culture is flat and seniors are very welcoming and open to talk to you. My team was super helpful, taking time to help me understand fundamentals and how the division works, and also with my presentation. The programme cohort were all lovely.
