  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • This insight week was filled with lots of informative presentations about the different divisions within investment management. We also participated in numerous stock pitches and presentations to demonstrate the skills we learnt from prior sessions.

    • I learnt much more about investment management in general. I also developed my public speaking and teamwork skills through our group case studies.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • During the programme I found that the culture was very welcoming and friendly. The speakers encouraged us to ask as many questions as possible and provided very helpful answers. I had a great time whilst on this programme and I thought the culture and atmosphere was really supportive and encouraging.

    • In your hire-views make sure to be yourself and not what you think the company wants you to be. I would also say in preparation for the hire-view really think about your strengths and weaknesses.
